The purpose of this website is to present my past and current works intended to serve as musical supports to films, video games, or other audiovisual projects.

If you work on a project which requires an original orchestral soundtrack, I would be pleased to collaborate with you and bring it my musical experience.

The music: For this 13-minute digital movie, I composed eight minutes of score and several source music cues. I'm currently putting the finishing touches to the soundtrack album presentation, which will be made available through Jamendo. Some Lo-Fi sound samples are however already available on The Glitch Official Website Music Page.

Excerpts from the director's notes : "[...]Harry’s eerie three-note motif took shape early on as a prototype idea that Laurent crafted into a miniature symphony, constructed around an imaginative arrangement of organic orchestral samples that grew to include bass marimba, vibraphone, cymbalom, crotales and – to my great delight – two anvils. We were keeping it real and shaking up poor Harry Owen’s world. Laurent also rose to the occasion for a series of sub-assignments that I fired at him over the year that it took to pull Glitch together. ‘Hitler Music’ was my brief for the start of Harry’s awful late night TV montage. This was followed by ‘70s porno’ and then, some time later, ‘a love theme by Georges Delerue.’ Laurent switched hats without blinking and, to cap it all, proposed Harry’s song ‘Shattered’ for our finale, recalling his father’s fondness for 80s metal band The Scorpions, sung in our movie by long-suffering leading man Scott Charles. And so here it is, nearly 30 minutes of music comprising eight cues, various TV sources, trailer music and alternates. It was a great experience and a privilege to discover such a dedicated and creative collaborator [...]" (Joe Fordham, June 2008)
